• This camp runs during Royal U16/U17/U18 try-outs

Trails West will be offering optional pre-season camps this season for U9, U13, U15 and U18 players/goaltenders for an additional fee and pre-skates for all community program registered U7 & U11 players at no additional cost.  These camps are designed to help your athlete get warmed up for the season and prepare for evaluations.  Only those players/goaltenders registered with TWHA for the 2023-2024 season will be permitted to register and attend TWHA pre-season camps. Pre-season camp registration will be cancelled for those players not registered for the upcoming season.

Third Party Instruction

We are excited that our 2023-2024 Pre-Season Camps (U9-U13) will be instructed by P3 Sports Inc. Our goal is to create an unmatched experience for our players and families that focuses on player development in a fun and competitive environment. This will include enhanced player feedback, increased practice flow, more puck touches and a faster work to rest ratio, ensuring all of our players are prepared both mentally and physically for the evaluation process.

Registration

Registration will OPEN for U9, U13, U15 and U18:  June 15, 2023

Registration for U7 & U11 is not required - it is included with 2023-2024 season registration

Registration will CLOSE one week prior to the camp start date or when registration has reached capacity with a waitlist.

There are limited spots available for each age division. Registration is on a first come basis.

Registered participants will be assigned pre-season camp groups based on previous team - there is no choice during registration to select your preferred group.  Please be sure to indicate the participant’s correct previous team during registration to assist the Pre-season Camp Coordinator in assigning groups with appropriately skilled players.There will be no opportunity to change the group a player is assigned and player substitutions will not be allowed.

Goaltenders

In addition to the discounted fee for goaltenders, Trails West will be offering two goalie-only sessions instructed by DMSG for all goaltenders who register for the pre-season camp(1 session for U11 Goaltenders). Pre-season camp registered goaltenders are expected to attend all pre-season camp sessions for the group they are assigned. Details for the goalie-only sessions will be communicated to registered pre-season camp goaltenders prior to the goalie-only sessions.

Waitlist

There will be a waitlist option for every age division (and position if applicable). If there are no spots available to register for in the applicable age division, please select the age division waitlist option to register on the waitlist on a first come, first offered an available spot basis. Emails requesting to be put on a waitlist will not be accepted.

Refunds (Pre-season Camps only)

Refunds for pre-season camps will be charged a $25 non-refundable administrative fee and will only be considered if due to illness or injury. The only exception is if before the pre-season camp starts, the spot is vacated and can be filled by another fully registered (paid) participant who was on the pre-season camp waitlist.
