Hockey Calgary is excited to announce the launch of our 2022 Esso Minor Hockey Week online 50/50 fundraiser!

Hockey is an amazing vehicle where today’s youth can learn so many valuable life lessons, like being a team player, setting goals and achieving them, becoming a leader and most of all having fun with your peers. No child should be shut out of this opportunity and that is where the Flames EvenStrength Program (FESP) steps in. Each year, Hockey Calgary partners with the Calgary Flames Foundation, CP and KidSport to fund the Flames EvenStrength Program.

FESP specifically assists minor hockey players in the City of Calgary who face financial obstacles to participating in organized hockey. The program provides funding to help alleviate the cost of fees for registration in community hockey and since the start of the program in 1998, we have distributed over 2.9 million dollars to more than 5,500 recipients to ensure that they have the chance to lace up their skates and hit the ice.

We have all seen the headlines, know friends and family that have been personally affected by the continued economic downturn in Calgary. Now more than ever, we need your help to ensure that no child is left on the bench. As you watch your son or daughter vying for that Esso Minor Hockey Week title, please consider buying a 50/50 ticket to ensure every child has the chance to compete for that banner!
