KidSport Calgary and our Calgary Flames Sports Bank are having Calgary’s BIGGEST Bottle Drive ever on Labour Day (Sept 6th) from 10am-3pm and we want you to be a part of it! We need YOUR HELP to collect 200,000 containers to help kids get #BackToSport this year. We will have 4 convenient drop off locations but people can also schedule a pick-up from the KidSport Recycling Program the week before the event if they are unable to make it the day of.
See all the event details here.
WHY SHOULD YOUR SPORT CLUB GET INVOLVED?
The funds raised from this event ultimately help fund your programs! In 2019, $381,119 was invested into minor hockey in Calgary to assist 640 kids into the game. In 2020, we were able to support 566 kids by distributing $341,361 back into local hockey programs.
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED!

KidSport has invested over $5 million back into our local sports system in the last 5 years, now we need YOU to start saving your empties so that you can be a part of Calgary’s BIGGEST bottle drive ever so we can make it So ALL Kids Can Play!
GET YOUR TEAMS INVOLVED
Have some team bonding time and host a mini bottle drive leading up to Labour Day to gather up as many empties as you can. Drop them off on Labour Day or schedule a pick up from the KidSport Recycling Program by calling or texting 403-680-8776.
Local families need our help now more than ever so let’s work together to make sure no kids are left on the sidelines, and all can experience the positive benefits of sport through programs just like yours!
