Trails West is a volunteer driven, not for profit association that relies on the contribution of our members to both maintain a minimum cost profile and generate a collective sense of community in our organization. We are encouraging our members to come forward and help out to benefit our players and our association as a whole.
The volunteer bond requirement will be for all members to contribute a minimum amount of volunteer time throughout the hockey season. The purpose is to ensure a more equitable distribution of volunteering across the association in an effort to provide a higher and more consistent level of programming.
The volunteer bond commitment will be as follows:
Members who don't complete their required volunteer credits will be invoiced for $250 by March 31, 2026.
Those opting out of volunteering can pay $250 upfront during registration, which will be shared with their Team Volunteer Ambassador.
If you pre-pay but later fulfill your volunteer requirements, the fee will be refunded at the end of the season.
