TWHA Development Program
Trails West is ready to launch our Spring 2022 Development Program in partnership with P3 Sports Inc. and Dark Horse Athletic! The program will combine hockey development and multisport dryland training.

Offered for U9-U13 only. Participants should register in the age division they will be playing in for the 2022-2023 season.

Ice times: Flames Community Arenas – Red Arena (2390 - 47 Ave SW)
Dryland: Webber Academy – Outdoor Sports Court (1515 - 93 St SW)
Program Run Dates (inclusive): April 12, 2022 to June 2, 2022
Ice times: Twice a week (60 minutes)
U9 – Tuesdays 4:00pm / Thursdays 5:15pm
U11 – Tuesdays 6:30pm / Thursdays 4:00pm
U13 – Tuesdays 5:15pm / Thursdays 6:30pm
U11 and U13 Goaltender specific instruction: Tuesday ice times
Dryland: Once a week (60 minutes)
U9 – Wednesdays 5:00pm
U11 – Wednesdays 6:00pm
U13 – Wednesdays 7:00pm
$525 / player
$400 / goaltender
Registration fee includes:
- 16 ice times
- 8 dryland sessions
- practice jersey
- Goaltenders (U11/U13) - 8 of the 16 ice times have goaltender specific instruction
U9 is limited to 24 players. U11 and U13 are limited to 24 players and 4 goaltenders each age division.
General Registration Information
There are spots available to register for on a drop-in basis for each ice session on Tuesday and Thursday from April 12 to June 2, 2022:
U9 (2014-2015) → 1 drop-in spot
U11 player (2012-2013) → 4 drop-in spots
U11 goaltender (2012-2013) → 3 drop-in spots
Register for an ice session and attend that ice session PLUS the dryland training that same week for no additional cost!
NOTE: Drop-In participants will not receive a practice jersey nor will they be added to a Development Program team in TeamSnap. They must check in with the instructor at the session they registered for.

During the registration process, please hover your cursor over the (?) beside the question for helpful tips.
TWHA waivers, acknowledgement of policies and consent will be required to be read and accepted during the registration process. Please take the time to review each of these waivers and policies.
The Hockey Canada Player Medical Information Sheet is required for every player who participates in the Spring 2022 Development Program. You will be required to upload the completed form during registration. If using the medical form previously submitted for the 2021-2022 season, please ensure all information remains accurate prior to uploading it for the Development Program. *This form is NOT fillable online - you will be required to print it, complete it by hand, then scan it or take a picture to upload.
The Dark Horse Athletic Inc. Waiver is required for every player who participates in the Spring 2022 Development Program. You will be required to upload the completed form during registration. *This form is NOT fillable online - you will be required to print it, complete it by hand, then scan it or take a picture to upload.
Either Player or Goaltender only. You will also be required to select the correct position option at Registration Fees.
Full program registration fee:
$525/player $400/goaltender
Drop-In session registration fee:
$35/player - Tuesday or Thursday ice session PLUS Wednesday dryland training on the same week
$30/goaltender - Tuesday ice session (goalie specific instruction) PLUS Wednesday dryland training on the same week
$20/goaltender - Thursday ice session PLUS Wednesday dryland training on the same week
U9 (2014-2015) → 1 drop-in spot
U11 player (2012-2013) → 4 drop-in spots
U11 goaltender (2012-2013) → 3 drop-in spots

Safety
All participants and spectators are expected to be respectful and adhere to all rules and restrictions as outlined by the Government of Alberta/City of Calgary and the facilities used for the program.
Participants are reminded to review the AHS Daily Check List prior to every program session. All participants (except drop-in participants) will be required to keep their attendance accurate in TeamSnap. Drop-in participants must check in with the instructor at each session.
