The Evaluation Guidelines for the 2010-11 season have been updated and are now posted at the link below. Please have a read through to understand the processes that are used.
Trails West has established this comprehensive set of guidelines for player evaluations to ensure transparency and fairness to all players. These guidelines are now available for review by players and parents by clicking on the link below. Please note that this document is a work in progress and is reviewed and updated annually.
A number of our members participated in the development and preparation of these guidelines. The Trails West executive would like to thank all members who particpated in the review process as well as those who provided feedback from previous years.

Evaluation Guidelines Transition Matrix
There are two goalies sessions where we require eight parents to evaluate the goaltenders. Four of the parents will be paired with an independent goalie evaluator we have hired to help evaluate. The other four will be on ice to help with the drills. We are requesting goalie parents but all volunteers are welcome. It is also useful for goalie parents to come learn some practice drills.
You will not evaluate your child’s age group.
