Registration tips:

If your child has played minor hockey before this year, you should not be creating a new player profile when you go to register. Whey you do that, it creates a new record that needs to be merged with older information.

If the registration system is making you do that, there is some inconsistency with the Hockey Canada Records and how you are attempting to find them. Either the spelling of the name is different or you have the birth date information incorrect.

The Hockey Canada registration system is used throughout Canada for registration. In designing it to accomodate all the players in minor hockey across the country, certain requirements were adapted, including a need to use current internet browsers. Internet Explorer versions 7 & 8 work but older versions of Internet Explorer are not supported. The latest version of Firefox should also work but there have been issues with Safari for Apple & Mac systems. Occasionally, the buttons to move to the next page are extended much lower on the screen then would normally be expected. You may have to scroll down on each page in order to ensure you have completed the form and to move on to the next section.

When you are completing the sections in the registration process, there is a small red asterisk on the right hand side of every field that needs to be filled out. You will not be able to proceed past the current section of the registration process until those fields are entered with some information.
